HER MAJESTY QUEEN ELIZABETH II 1926 – 2022
It was with the greatest sadness that Barling Magna Parish Council learnt of the death of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. She was the longest serving monarch in our history and very few of us will remember a time when she wasn’t with us. The Council extends its sincere condolences to His Majesty the King and the Royal Family.
A period of mourning for 10 days will commence 09/09/2022, during which time a loose leaf book condolence will be placed in the Parish Hall in Little Wakering Road should parishioners wish to forward their condolences which is open 9am until 3pm. Buckingham palace also has a digital book of condolence that can be visited here.
The Parish Council will have a book of condolence for people to sign at the parish hall in Little Wakering Road – times as follows:
Sat 10th September 10 am - 12 noon
Sun 2 pm - 4.00 pm
Mon 11 am – 1pm
Tues 4 pm - 6 pm
Wed 5 pm - 7 pm
Thurs 11 am - 1 pm
Fri 1 pm - 3 pm
Sat (17th September) 10 am - 12 noon
Sun 12 noon - 2 pm
