Today we had the pleasure of presenting our Wildlife Reserve volunteers with their 14th Green Flag award – an incredible achievement that reflects their dedication, commitment and countless hours of hard work.
The green flag award is an internationally recognised quality mark that celebrates well-managed parks and green spaces. Receiving this award for the 14th time is something the whole parish can be proud of.
Our volunteers work tirelessly throughout the year to care for the reserve, maintaining paths, habitats and facilities, while creating a welcoming space for wildlife and for everyone in our community to enjoy. Their passion, enthusiasm and willingness to give up their own time make the Wildlife Reserve the special place it is today.
On behalf of Barling Magna Parish Council, we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone of our volunteers. Your dedication does not go unnoticed, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you do for the parish.
Congratulations on your 14th Green flag award – a fantastic achievement that is thoroughly deserved. Here’s to many more years of protecting and enhancing our wonderful wildlife reserve.
